Paul Morris/Treasure Island Media Funded Artist on CNN
Todd Ahlberg, one of the artists funded by the Treasure Island Media/Gold Square Gallery Grant Program, made a live appearance on CNN Newsroom earlier this week to discuss his documentary METH. The piece explores methamphetamine use within the gay population and investigates connections between the use of the drug and the basic issue of queer identity.
The documentary recently earned the esteemed 2006 Hawaii International Film Festival Award for Best Documentary and has screened at a number of venues throughout the year including the San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, OUTfest in Los Angeles, and many other festivals.
Check out the transcript of Ahlberg's interview with hosts Kyra Phillips and Don Lemon.
